Referral Information

Who is the project for?

Young single homeless women aged 16–24 who require housing-related support to sustain and maintain accommodation. A local connection is required, and applicants must be willing to engage with the support on offer. Each referral is individually assessed to consider risk and needs.

Who can make a referral?

Referrals are accepted from:

  • Social Services
  • Cambridge City Council
  • Centre 33
  • Youth Support / Locality Teams
  • Youth Offending Services (YOS)
  • Other supported housing providers

How to refer

Referrals can be made by phoning the project Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, or by email to whitworthtrust@gmail.com.

Support offered

Staff provide support around independent living skills, working closely with partnership agencies. Sign-posting to specialist agencies ensures clients receive appropriate support dependent on their individual needs. A key-work system using Outcomes Star offers regular support meetings, alongside referrals to outside agencies.

Length of stay

Minimum stay: up to 1 month. Maximum stay: 2 years.
