In the last few weeks we have been so pleased to have been able to give residents the funds for two new laptops and two new bikes — all thanks to the generous donations of our amazing supporters.

These might sound like simple things, but for the young women living at Whitworth House, they can be truly transformative. A laptop opens the door to online courses, job applications, and staying connected with support networks. A bicycle provides affordable, independent transport to college, work placements, and appointments across the city.

Such essentials are often well beyond the reach of new residents, many of whom arrive with very little. Without them, they can't connect to the education and training they want to access. With them, new possibilities are there for the taking. It's simple, but so effective.

This is exactly the kind of practical, targeted support that the Whitworth Trust exists to provide. We listen to what residents actually need, and thanks to your generosity, we can respond quickly and meaningfully.
